1What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next, or from one visit to the next. Browsers also offer other ways of storing data that serve the same purpose, such as local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). In this policy we treat them in the same way and, when we say “cookies”, we mean all of them.

Depending on their purpose, they may be technical cookies — essential for the site to work or to provide a service you have requested —, preference cookies, analytics cookies or advertising cookies. Technical cookies and the preference cookies that you choose do not require consent; the others cannot be installed until you accept them.

analytics tools

The website does not install cookies or store anything in your browser's local storage. Nor does it load third-party content that could do so: the typeface is served from our own domain, and we do not embed videos, maps, social media buttons or measurement tools.

Submitting the “Book a demo” form does not leave any cookie either.

3On the BluSea platform

When you sign in to the platform with your company account, the browser stores what is essential to keep your session and remember how you left your work. All of it is technical or preferences that you choose: nothing is used to analyse you or for advertising, and nothing is shared with third parties.

4Why we do not ask for your consent

The law requires consent for cookies that are not necessary. All the cookies BluSea uses are technical cookies or preference cookies that you choose, and they are exempt under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE (Spanish Information Society Services Act) and the Guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Even so, we tell you which ones they are.

If we ever use cookies that require your consent, such as analytics cookies, they will not be installed until you accept them in a panel where accepting and rejecting are equally easy, you will be able to change your mind at any time and we will update this policy beforehand.

5How to view, delete or block them

You can do this from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security.
  • Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
  • Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security.
  • Safari: Settings › Privacy.

If you delete the platform's data, you will be signed out and, in that browser, you will lose your preferences and any text you have not sent. Your work saved in BluSea is not affected. If you block Microsoft's cookies, you will not be able to sign in.

6Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if what we store in your browser changes, and we will publish each version with its date. How we process your personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
