Product/Assistant

Ask and receive: Word, Excel, drawings, images, schedules and budgets from your documents

The Assistant works with your documents: it answers with the page cited, drafts reports in Word, calculates in Excel, draws technical drawings, creates images and prepares the programme of works and the budget. You ask; it delivers, ready to review.

The Assistant with a technical report just drafted in Word and the menu to create a technical drawing, an image or a schedule.

What used to take days of work, in one conversation. The Assistant reads, drafts, calculates and draws with your documents.

Ask and get the answer with its source

Ask the documents you choose, from a workspace or attached to the chat, and get the answer with the document and the page. If the data point isn't there, it says so.

  • Citations that open the document

Every citation opens the document at the exact page. In a BC3 bill of quantities, at the line item.

  • Your files, straight away

Attach PDFs, Excel files, BC3 bills of quantities or Primavera and MS Project schedules, and ask about them in the same chat.

  • More sources

As well as your workspaces, it consults the company's corporate documentation and the web.

Reports and technical proposals in Word, every fact cited

Ask for a technical proposal, a report or a comparison. BluSea suggests the outline, or you write it, and drafts section by section while you watch. You get a real Word document, ready to work on.

  • Word outline and formatting

A real table of contents, sections, tables, lists and page-numbered footers, in a Word file you open and edit like any other.

  • Every section, with its sources

Statements carry their citation and each section ends with the documents and pages they come from. Anything still to be confirmed is highlighted.

  • See it before you download

The document appears in the chat panel as it is drafted. Download it as Word or PDF, with its traceability sheet.

Excel sheets built from your documents

Say which columns you need or let BluSea propose the structure. It extracts the data from the documents you choose, organises it into sheets and does the calculations with Excel formulas.

  • Formulas that recalculate

Operations between columns, totals, averages and financial functions such as NPV, IRR or PMT. Change a value and Excel recalculates.

  • The source of every cell

A sources sheet with the document, page and excerpt behind each value. Doubtful cells are marked in amber and explained in a warnings sheet.

  • Ready to work with

Several sheets, frozen headers, filters and currency, percentage and date formats. Review them in the viewer, with its formula bar, before downloading.

Draw technical drawings and images

Describe what you need and the Assistant draws it: a P&ID with its symbols, a block diagram or an illustration for the bid.

  • P&IDs to standard

Equipment, valves, lines and instruments with ISA 5.1 and ISO 10628 symbols, and a title block.

  • Editable drawings

Ask for a change and the drawing is recomposed: BluSea calculates the geometry, nothing is retouched by hand.

  • Images from text

Illustrations for reports, bids and presentations, from what you write.

Plan the works with their critical path

Ask for the programme of works and get a calculated Gantt chart, with dependencies and critical path, that opens and can be adjusted in the Planning Editor.

  • Calculated Gantt chart

Durations, dependencies and float calculated, not bars drawn by hand.

  • Primavera and MS Project

Reads Primavera (XER) and MS Project schedules, and exports to Primavera.

  • Versions, as in Word

Open, compare and restore any version of the schedule.
